Introduced in 1894, Colt's "Bisley Model" was named after the Bisley shooting range in England. Most of the famous frontier personalities included, but are certainly not limited to, famous lawmen such as Wyatt Earp as well as outlaws like Frank James (Jesse James Brother). Plenty of other frontier notables and gunfighters, such as Judge Roy Bean the Texas Rangers, soldiers, turned the workhorse into an American legend. Bisleys were intended as a target guns, and had hammers with wider and lower spurs, and a different grip frame to the standard Single Action Army.
As with most Tanaka revolvers, the Gas & BBs (6mm) go into the cylinder. This is a single action Gas Powered revolver which has all the correct markings and is a wonderful replica of this Wild West classic.
