A&K M4 CQB-01 Airsoft AEG Rifle with Gas Block Rail Accessory System in Black
Compact, aggressive, and absolutely skirmish-ready, the A&K M4 CQB-01 Airsoft AEG is built for those who live for close-quarters combat but still want the power and modularity of a full metal AEG. With a tough-as-nails build, solid internals, and a unique rail system that sets it apart from standard M4 variants, this rifle brings serious utility to any urban or CQB setup.
Right out of the box, the CQB-01 stands out thanks to its free-float gas block rail system — a staggered setup offering eight potential mounting points for your lights, lasers, PEQ boxes, or foregrips. It’s tight, compact, and made for room-clearing precision. A&K also throw in a generic vertical foregrip for free, giving you a functional upgrade without extra cost. This is exactly the kind of rail real estate you want when your games involve dark corners and fast movement.
The upper and lower receivers are made from solid metal — not cheap pot metal either. This one can take a knock and keep running. The shortened “A1” style stock gives you a bit more compactness over the standard M16 stock but still offers loads of room for battery storage, allowing you to run everything from 8.4V to 9.6V mini bricks. The pistol grip is beefy and ergonomically shaped, giving you a comfortable and controlled hold — especially useful during longer sessions.
Flip-up QD front and rear sights are included and can be easily removed if you want to run optics. The flat-top upper rail gives you full flexibility for red dots, holos, or even a short scope if you're that kind of operator. It’s a short rifle, yes, but it still offers a surprising amount of customisation — one of the big reasons players are turning to this model for tight site environments or backup roles.
Under the hood, it’s rocking a solid full metal Version 2 gearbox with surprisingly refined internals. The wiring is clean, the motor is responsive, and the gears come pre-shimmed. Even the AOE (angle of engagement) sounds pretty spot on, which isn’t something you always get at this price point. Whether you're running semi-auto for precise shots or going full auto for room clearance (after chrono approval, of course), the trigger response is smooth and consistent.
One important note — due to import specs, some models may ship with a hotter spring, pushing FPS towards 410 out of the box. We recommend chrono-ing this rifle before taking it to your site, especially if you're planning to use full-auto indoors. Swapping the spring or adjusting power is easy thanks to the Version 2 compatibility, and it's ready to accept aftermarket parts if you want to take it even further.
If you’re after a highly capable, feature-rich CQB airsoft rifle that doesn’t cut corners, the A&K M4 CQB-01 is a superb option. Lightweight, compact, and rugged — this rifle is tailor-made for players who want a reliable weapon that performs under pressure and looks mean while doing it.
