Constructed from 45C cold drawn seamless steel tubing, this cylinder offers excellent resistance to deformation and wear. The cold hardening process gives it a Rockwell hardness rating between 20 and 25, ensuring long-term durability under heavy use. The inner surface remains smooth and precise for consistent air seal, while the outer surface is CNC lathed and grooved to improve heat dissipation. It undergoes ultrasonic cleaning followed by an Isonite oxide surface treatment for added corrosion resistance and low friction. Milled air vents paired with ASG’s signature logo make this not only a high-performance part but a visually distinctive one as well.
