LCT Airsoft MRK-105 AEG Airsoft Rifle with Folding Stock in Tactical Black
If you’re after a compact AK that still feels like it means business, the LCT MRK-105 AEG Airsoft Rifle hits the bullseye. Built like a tank and trimmed down for agility, this AK105-style platform is designed to give you the rugged durability of a full-size rifle with the handling ease of something far more mobile. It’s a proper workhorse—perfect for players who want that unmistakable AK attitude without dragging around a full-length beast.
The externals are unmistakably LCT: full steel receiver, barrel assembly, flash hider, and sights. That’s right—none of that faux metal stuff. Pick it up and you’ll feel the 3.3kg weight straight away. It’s not heavy for the sake of it, though. It’s balanced. Well thought out. The polymer handguard, pistol grip, and stock inserts keep it from becoming front-heavy, so it shoulders beautifully and stays comfortable through long matches.
Overall length is a manageable 865mm with the stock out, dropping to 805mm folded. That folding stock is a huge win. You can compact it down for tight corners, urban CQB, or just navigating woodland cover, and flick it back open for those longer-range engagements where stability counts. Solid locking mechanism too—no wobbles or flimsy hinges here.
Internally, this airsoft rifle is all business. The Version 3 gearbox, fitted with 9mm bearings and a 22000rpm short-type motor, gives snappy cycling and dependable performance. The inclusion of a Quick Detach spring system is a real quality-of-life upgrade—especially if you play across multiple sites with varying FPS caps. No full teardown needed to tweak your power level. Just pop the spring, adjust, and you’re back in action.
The inner barrel measures 365mm and features a 6.05mm bore, made from brass for consistent tolerances. That’s a sweet spot for an airsoft AEG—long enough to give you decent range and accuracy, short enough to stay maneuverable. And with the rotary-style hop-up unit, fine-tuning your backspin is both easy and reliable. Set it once, and it stays put—no creeping mid-game.
This airsoft gun runs front-wired to the top cover and takes stick-type LiPo batteries. LCT recommends a 7.4V 20C for lower FPS builds and 11.1V 20C for higher power setups. Just make sure to check your site’s velocity limits. The wiring itself is solid 18AWG—plenty capable of handling the demands of LiPo use, with no risk of voltage sag when things heat up mid-game. As expected, battery and charger are not included, so plan ahead.
Mechanically, the gearbox internals show the usual LCT attention to detail: CNC aluminium cylinder head, brass cylinder with chrome plating, polycarbonate piston with steel teeth, nylon fibre piston head, and a steel ball bearing spring guide. All designed for longevity, even under sustained full-auto fire. No blowback system here—which actually helps. Less mechanical movement means fewer potential issues. It just runs. Every time.
Firing modes are standard AK layout: safe, semi, and full auto. The selector is tactile and mechanical, with that unmistakable “click” that AK users know well. In use, the MRK-105 feels planted. It’s quicker to bring on target than a traditional AK47-style platform, but doesn’t lose that stable shooting experience. Indoors, it doesn’t overextend. Outdoors, it still holds its own with accuracy and range. A brilliant all-rounder.
If you want a modern assault rifle with Cold War grit and tactical smarts, this airsoft AEG delivers. Whether you're building out a Russian loadout, PMC kit, or just want something that handles like a dream but still feels like the real deal—the MRK-105 is built to do the job and keep doing it. No fluff. No gimmicks. Just steel, gears, and game-ready performance.
