LCT Sport ZKS-74M Electric Airsoft Rifle with Folding Stock – Black
The LCT Sport ZKS-74M is what you get when Cold War muscle meets modern battlefield tweaks — and the result is nothing short of brutal efficiency. Built around the AKS-74M platform, this full-metal airsoft rifle isn’t trying to be flashy. It just shows up, gets the job done, and takes a beating without complaint. And that’s exactly what makes it shine in a skirmish — a no-nonsense, steel-bodied bruiser that feels as good in hand as it looks slung across your rig.
This airsoft AEG weighs in at approximately 3.85kg, and let me tell you, it feels like it means business. Not the featherweight plastic sort you toss in a bag and forget — this has real heft. Steel receiver, barrel, dust cover... everything you’d expect from LCT’s obsession with realism. Sling it over your shoulder, and you’ll know it’s there. Shouldering it? Oh, it’s solid. That kind of reassuring weight that helps absorb recoil and give you a smoother shooting rhythm.
The folding, three-position stock is a game changer. You can lock it fully extended for that long rifle stance when you’ve got the room to stretch out your shots, or collapse it tight when diving through doorways or riding in the back of a van. Fold it completely and you’ve got a compact 710mm profile — great for CQB or storage. It’s that blend of versatility and structure that makes it a great pick for mixed-field environments.
From a performance angle, the ZKS-74M doesn’t mess about. Out of the box, it’s chronoing around 393 FPS with a 435mm brass inner barrel that punches out stable, consistent shots. And thanks to the rotary hop-up chamber made of POM, tuning your arc is smooth and responsive. Once dialled in, it’s perfectly happy chucking 0.28g BBs all day long. The consistency? Chef’s kiss. It’s the kind of setup that lets you confidently peek corners without spraying and praying.
Inside, the rifle sports a Version 3 MIG-type gearbox running 9mm bearings, a chrome-plated brass cylinder, polycarbonate piston with steel teeth, and a bearing spring guide. Translation: rugged internals built to last, with enough upgrade potential to keep the tinkerers happy. The quick-change spring system is a massive plus too — no need to fully gut your gearbox just to tune down for CQB limits. Just pop the back, swap the spring, and you’re mission-ready.
Now here’s the kicker — the ZKS-74M comes fitted with a Gate ASTER V3 ETU. That’s not just a MOSFET; it’s a full electronic trigger unit. Semi-auto is snappy, trigger response is clean, and with some tinkering (and upgraded firmware), you can even run programmable burst modes. For the price point, that’s mad value. Most rifles at this level would leave ETUs as an upgrade path, not standard.
Need to mount optics? You’ve got a full-length Picatinny rail along the dust cover and a side rail for traditional AK optics. Whether you’re slapping on a red dot, LPVO, or going full Dragunov aesthetic with a POSP scope, you’re covered. And the muzzle? Threaded for both 14mm CCW and 24mm CW — so all your favourite flash hiders, suppressors, and tracer units are good to go without weird adapters.
Magazine-wise, the included 130-round mid-cap feeds reliably and locks in firm — no annoying wiggle or feeding issues. And being a mid-cap, there’s no rattle, which makes a world of difference when you’re trying to stay sneaky. The rifle is front-wired with an 18AWG setup, Mini Tamiya connector, and loves a stick-type LiPo tucked under the dust cover. 7.4v works fine, but if your field rules allow, slap in an 11.1v and this thing absolutely sings.
