Description

LCT ZKS-74UN AEG Airsoft Rifle with Folding Stock – Black

If you're after a compact Russian-style airsoft rifle that feels like it just rolled out of an armoury somewhere east of the Urals, the LCT ZKS-74UN is right up your alley. This thing doesn’t pretend. It’s a dense, steel-built beast that makes most polymer rifles feel like toys. From the first time you shoulder it, you’ll know it’s made for serious use — not shelf display.

At around 3.2 to 3.5kg, it’s no featherweight, but that heft comes from proper materials. The receiver, barrel assembly, muzzle device, sling loops — all made from steel. The handguard and stock use aluminium where it makes sense, shaving a bit of weight without sacrificing strength. The result? A solid, unified rifle with no creaks, flex, or play. It genuinely feels like one solid unit — like a proper military weapon that just happens to shoot plastic BBs.

This AEG is based on Russia’s compact AK platforms — think vehicle crews, special units, or CQB specialists. With its 255mm inner barrel and overall length of 770mm (or just 667mm folded), it’s tailor-made for close quarters without feeling undergunned in woodland. Tight enough for room clearing, yet sturdy enough to lay down fire outdoors with confidence.

One of the standout features is the Z-Series RIS handguard. Instead of classic AK wood or smooth polymer, you get full 22mm Picatinny rails on all four sides — perfect for torches, grips, PEQs, or whatever else your mission profile calls for. The aluminium keeps the front end light enough to stay agile, but it still feels rock solid, no wiggle or flex.

Out back, the Z-Series folding stock is both practical and clever. It folds to the side for easy transport or CQB work, but it also adjusts in length — ideal for different gear setups. Got a plate carrier one weekend and a hoodie the next? No problem. It even includes an adjustable cheek rest to help get proper eye alignment with optics. Speaking of which, this airsoft assault rifle has both a side-mounted rail for AK optics and a flat-top receiver rail for standard scopes or red dots. Best of both worlds.

Internally, the ZKS-74UN runs a classic Version 3 gearbox — rugged, reliable, and supported by a massive aftermarket. LCT hasn’t skimped either. It’s fitted with 9mm bearings, a polycarbonate piston with steel teeth, a chrome-plated brass cylinder, and a bearing spring guide. In short, this gearbox is built to be thrashed. The motor clocks in at 22,000rpm — a nice sweet spot for trigger response without going full DSG territory. Paired with a 7.4v or 11.1v LiPo (front wired with Mini Tamiya), you’ll get a snappy, dependable fire cycle that holds up under pressure.

Performance? Right in the skirmish sweet spot. It's firing at around 390 FPS, perfect for outdoor games and more than capable of reaching out across a woodland field. The adjustable rotary hop-up gives you proper control over your flight path, and once tuned for your BB weight — say 0.28g — you’ll be getting consistent shots with minimal fuss.

The fire selector’s standard AK-style — big, robust, and glove-friendly. Semi and full-auto modes are both satisfying, with the mid-cap 130-round magazine feeding smoothly throughout. No rattles, no misfeeds — just reliable cycling every time you squeeze the trigger. And with the steel muzzle threaded in 24mm CW, you can easily add your choice of suppressor, tracer unit, or flash hider to complete the look or function.

This isn’t some fancy wall-hanger or high-speed gimmick gun. The LCT ZKS-74UN is a working tool for players who want realism, ruggedness, and reliability. Whether you're running a Russian loadout or just want a proper airsoft AEG that feels like it could survive the apocalypse, this one ticks all the boxes.
