While most Airsofters will insists that the only way to skirmish a sidearm is for it to be gas,
electric pistols are becoming increasingly popular in the UK because of the cold weather!
Electric pistols do not need constant gassing and will work just as well in the cold as they will
in the hot, They are much more consistent than gas as they fire at a steady Fps, not start high
and gradually drop like most gas pistols do.
This is a replica of the classic 1911 pistol - one of the more popular pistol styles in airsoft and
one of the "Big three" (Glock, 1911, M9) this weapon comes with the classic style wood effect
grips which are textured for a nicer hold when shooting, overall this is quite a compact pistol
considering it fits a gearbox inside - Because of this it is quite WIDE, and is not the real 1:1 scale
dimensions of the actual 1911 pistol, this is by no means a bad thing however as the thicker grip
gives the same comfortable hold that you find on a Hi-Capa, making this a wholly unique pistol.
Generally, the build of this weapon is really quite impressive (as with all the CYMA AEP's) and the
actual quality of the materials used on the weapon are very high - it doesn't feel too light or tacky,
this is an ideal skirmish weapon - it's not venerable to being dropped and will survive small bumps
and knock with no problems at all (Don't, however go throwing it down stairs or off buildings!)
In terms of operation, it IS possible to shoot this only on single shot; however we all know the
main appeal of a CYMA AEP is its ability to go FULL AUTO. Firing fully automatic this pistol can
empty its magazine in no time, and can easily spray a whole room of enemies with no problems!
while the ROF as standard is fairly average, it can be increased by performing the LIPO conversion.
WE DO NOT RECCOMEND YOU TRY THIS MODIFICATION IF YOU ARE INEXPERIENCED.
If you want the LIPO upgrade, the safest option is to take the weapon to your local tech and get them
to have a look at the options for you, or; if you have experience working with electrical systems - there
are plenty of tutorials online explaining how to carry out this modification. Naturally, doing a modification
such as this WILL void any warranty we offer and mean we cannot help you if the weapon breaks.
Disclaimer!:
The cyma AEP 500mah batteries Should be charged for no more then 2hrs this is because over charging these batteries is very common with these batteries so to keep them nice and healthy it is best to charge them for 1hr and 30mins but 2hrs should be your absolute maximum.
