The Raven MEU 1911 Dual Tone in blue is a modernised take on one of the most iconic handguns in history. Part of NUPROL’s RAVEN series, it blends the classic 1911 design with performance upgrades and a bold two-tone finish. With its full-metal slide and frame, this airsoft pistol delivers the realistic weight, feel, and recoil that gas blowback fans expect—while still being available without UKARA due to its factory-applied blue finish.

Constructed almost entirely from alloy, with only the textured grip panels made from polymer, this pistol feels solid in the hand and cycles with authority. The slide features front and rear serrations, offering excellent grip for chamber checks or slide manipulations, whether you’re gloved up or running bare hands. These cuts also shave off a bit of weight, helping the pistol cycle faster and giving you a snappier follow-up shot.

At the business end, the alloy barrel sports an 11mm CCW thread—ready for an adapter to fit tracers, suppressors, or other muzzle devices depending on your loadout or mission. The skeletonised trigger, drilled with three weight-reducing holes, complements the updated MEU styling while shaving a fraction off the pull weight. The controls are pure 1911 but with refinements. You get an ambidextrous thumb safety placed just below the shooter’s thumb for quick engagement. It also doubles as a “gas pedal” thumb rest, helping control muzzle climb during rapid fire. Behind the grip, the extended beavertail safety ensures the pistol only fires when held correctly, preventing accidental discharges when holstering or drawing.

The grip panels themselves feature a textured modern pattern, giving you a locked-in feel in any weather. At the base of the grip, a lanyard loop allows for added security—ideal if you’re climbing, moving through dense brush, or just don’t want to risk dropping your sidearm mid-skirmish.

Performance is enhanced by the adjustable hop-up, accessible when the slide is removed from the frame. Once tuned, it gives a flatter, more accurate BB trajectory, extending your effective range. The 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel boosts precision, making this MEU more than capable in medium-range engagements despite being a sidearm.

The recoil impulse is firm and satisfying thanks to the all-metal construction, and the slide locks back when the magazine is empty, adding to the realism. Compatible with both green gas and CO₂ magazines, the MEU 1911 is ready for year-round use—run gas for warm-weather efficiency or CO₂ for snappier cycling in colder conditions.
