At the back, the Hellbreaker is fitted with an AMOEBA Pro Tactical pistol grip and matching retractable stock. Adjusting the stock lets you alter the length of pull depending on your build, clothing and equipment, so it can be shortened when you're wearing bulky kit or extended when you want a more conventional shooting position. Combined with that 7-inch front end, collapsing the stock gives the rifle a very tidy overall profile for confined environments. There's enough rifle to shoulder naturally, but the shortened Octarms front end doesn't feel like it's constantly trying to introduce itself to every doorway you pass. The metal receiver construction gives it some reassuring substance, while the retractable stock lets you pull the overall setup in closer when the game moves indoors. Add a compact optic and only the accessories you genuinely use and you've got a neat, uncomplicated setup rather than a rifle wearing half the contents of an accessory catalogue.
