Double Bell 303+ John Wick 4 Series Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol with Wooden Case in Black
The Double Bell 303+ John Wick 4 Series Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol in Black is a full-size competition-style airsoft handgun built around the familiar Hi-Capa 5.1 / 2011 platform. The design takes strong inspiration from the Pit Viper-style pistol seen in John Wick: Chapter 4, with a black melanite-style finish, aggressive CNC-style slide work and a contrasting copper-coloured outer barrel. It already looks special before you put a BB through it. Add the wooden collector case, themed accessories and John Wick-style trades supplied with the set, and this is clearly aimed at players who enjoy the presentation and display side of airsoft as much as the shooting.
Underneath the film-inspired appearance is a proper Green Gas GBB pistol with full metal construction and realistic blowback operation. The heavyweight aluminium slide cycles with every shot, giving the pistol the mechanical snap and movement that makes gas blowback airsoft pistols so satisfying to use. At approximately 900g, the 303+ has enough mass to feel substantial in the hand without becoming absurdly heavy. It definitely has more presence than a lightweight polymer sidearm. Pick it up and you immediately get that competition-pistol feel rather than the impression of handling a basic service handgun.
Starting at the muzzle, the copper-coloured CNC alloy outer barrel is one of the most eye-catching parts of the whole design. It contrasts strongly with the black slide and frame and gives the pistol that customised race-gun appearance associated with modern 2011 builds. The slide itself follows a TTI Pit Viper-style profile with machined-looking cuts and a dark melanite-style finish. It's not remotely shy. Put it beside a plain black airsoft pistol and the 303+ looks like the one that's already booked itself into a competition.
The Green Gas system powers both the firing cycle and the blowback action. Each pull of the trigger fires a 6mm BB and sends the metal slide through its cycle, resetting the pistol for the next shot. That movement is a big part of the appeal. There's an audible clack, a noticeable kick through the grip and a much more involved feel than you'd get from a fixed-slide BB pistol. Green Gas performance will naturally change with ambient temperature and magazine pressure, so stronger cycling on a warm summer day and softer operation in colder weather is perfectly normal for this type of airsoft gun.
The 303+ also uses an adjustable hop-up system, allowing you to tune the backspin applied to the BB for a flatter and more useful trajectory. As with most GBB pistols, it's worth setting the hop for the BB weight you actually intend to use rather than constantly fiddling with it between magazines. Tiny changes are normally enough. Too little and your BBs start dropping early; too much and they'll climb like they've spotted something interesting on the ceiling. Get the balance right and the pistol becomes much more predictable at normal skirmish distances.
Moving underneath the frame, there's a 20mm metal Picatinny accessory rail for compatible pistol lights and other suitable equipment. That's particularly handy if you plan to use the 303+ for CQB rather than keeping it purely as a collector piece. The frame also carries an extended beavertail grip safety, helping position your firing hand high behind the slide while retaining the familiar 2011-style safety arrangement. Competition-style trigger and hammer components continue the customised appearance, while the removable grip panel setup keeps the overall feel close to the Hi-Capa family that many airsofters already know well.
The controls and grip area are designed with practical use in mind too. The extended beavertail helps keep the pistol comfortable during longer sessions, while the grip safety needs to be correctly engaged before the pistol can fire. There's also a lanyard mounting point, which is easy to overlook until you're running the pistol as a secondary over rough ground or climbing through awkward terrain. A suitable retention lanyard can add a little extra security when the pistol spends most of the day moving between a holster and your hand.
At 23.5cm long, 3.5cm wide and approximately 14cm high, the Double Bell 303+ has the full-size proportions you'd expect from a competition-inspired airsoft handgun. The 900g weight gives it a planted feel during aiming and makes the blowback action feel more substantial. For skirmishing, a supportive compatible holster is worth using, because this isn't the kind of lightweight backup pistol you forget is hanging from your belt. On the flip side, that weight gives the whole airsoft gun a reassuring sense of solidity when drawn.
The collector package is where the 303+ really separates itself from a standard GBB pistol. Double Bell supplies the pistol inside a wooden presentation case, along with a Continental Osaka key card, gold-coloured coin, themed accessory pouch and John Wick-style trades. Open the case and the whole set immediately feels more like a display piece than ordinary airsoft packaging. For a John Wick fan, that's a big part of the appeal. The nice bit is that you're not sacrificing usability to get the presentation. Take the pistol out of the case and you've still got a functional full metal Green Gas airsoft pistol with blowback, adjustable hop-up and practical competition-style controls.
The Double Bell 303+ JW4 Series therefore works equally well as a collector's airsoft gun or a skirmishable GBB pistol. The black and copper finish gives it unmistakable character, while the full metal Hi-Capa 5.1 / 2011-style construction provides a familiar platform underneath. Add the realistic blowback action, 20mm accessory rail, adjustable hop-up and extended beavertail and there's plenty here for actual field use. Then, once the game is over, it goes back into a wooden case with themed extras instead of disappearing into a plain cardboard box. Subtle? Not even slightly. That's rather the point.
