Description

Double Eagle M924 DMP-9 Submachine Gun Eshooter Falcon V2 ETU with Side Folding Stock in Black

The Double Eagle M924 DMP-9 Submachine Gun in Black is a compact Airsoft AEG designed around the sort of tight, fast-moving environments where every extra centimetre starts to matter. Its short SMG-style layout, side-folding stock and slim front end make it particularly handy for CQB, indoor sites and urban games where a longer airsoft rifle can feel awkward around doors, stairwells and barricades. Fold the stock and the DMP-9 becomes even more compact, making it easy to keep close to the body when moving through confined spaces. Extend it again and you've got a much more conventional shoulder position. Best of both worlds, really.

The standout feature is the factory-fitted Eshooter Falcon V2 Electronic Trigger Unit. Instead of relying solely on a conventional mechanical trigger arrangement, the ETU gives the M924 a programmable electronic firing system with pre-cocking, three-round burst and binary trigger functions. For players who spend a lot of time on semi-auto, pre-cocking is especially useful because it can leave the gearbox prepared for the next firing cycle, making the trigger feel more immediate. Three-round burst gives you a controlled middle ground between single shots and full-auto, while binary adds another configurable option for sites and game formats where that mode is permitted.

The Falcon V2 ETU also brings in cycle completion and a low-battery warning. Those aren't the sort of features that make a flashy product photo, but they're useful in day-to-day ownership. Cycle completion helps the gearbox finish its firing cycle cleanly rather than stopping in an awkward position, while the low-battery warning gives you a heads-up before your LiPo is completely exhausted. It's the sort of electronic housekeeping that makes a modern electric airsoft gun feel considerably more refined than a bare-bones AEG.

Underneath the electronics sits a familiar Version 2 gearbox with 18:1 steel gears running on 8mm bearings. That 18:1 ratio is a sensible all-round setup, giving you a good balance between dependable operation and responsive firing rather than chasing an extreme high-speed build. Steel gears provide a solid mechanical foundation, and the V2 layout means the internals are based around a platform that plenty of experienced airsoft technicians already know well. In other words, the DMP-9 has modern electronic control without turning the gearbox into something needlessly exotic.

Moving forward, Double Eagle fits a 6.04mm tightbore inner barrel. That tighter bore can help support consistent BB travel through the barrel, although barrel diameter is only one part of the accuracy equation. Hop-up setup, ammunition quality and keeping the barrel clean all matter just as much. Feed the DMP-9 decent 6mm BBs, keep the inner barrel maintained and spend a few minutes setting the hop correctly, and you've got a solid basis for accurate shooting at normal CQB and short-to-medium airsoft ranges.

The handguard uses M-LOK, which keeps the front end slimmer and less cluttered than covering every surface with permanent Picatinny rail. Compatible accessories can be fitted where you actually need them, while the remaining handguard stays comfortable to hold. A compact light or low-profile foregrip would suit the DMP-9 particularly well. Across the top is a full-length 20mm Picatinny rail, giving you plenty of room for a red dot or other compatible optic without making the setup complicated.

Double Eagle also includes adjustable flip-up sights, so the airsoft sub machine gun is perfectly usable without an optic. They can be adjusted for windage and elevation, then folded down if you decide to run a red dot later. It's a simple, practical arrangement. No need to buy an optic before the first game just because there's a rail sitting there looking empty.

At the muzzle you'll find a standard 14mm CCW thread, which opens up a broad range of compatible airsoft accessories. Tracer units make particular sense on a compact CQB Airsoft AEG, especially during dark indoor games where seeing BB flight can be genuinely useful. Suppressor-style accessories can also be fitted where suitable. The important part is that Double Eagle has used a widely supported thread standard rather than locking the rifle into an awkward proprietary setup.

The controls are another strong point. The fire selector, magazine release and bolt catch are ambidextrous, making the DMP-9 naturally comfortable for left-handed players and much easier to manipulate when switching shoulders. That's particularly useful in CQB because you won't always be working from your dominant side. Move around the opposite side of a doorway and the controls are still where your hands expect them to be. The textured pistol grip provides a secure contact point and complements the compact nature of the platform nicely.

The side-folding stock is arguably the feature you'll notice most during actual movement. With it deployed, the M924 handles like a short airsoft rifle and gives you a stable point of contact at the shoulder. Fold it alongside the receiver and the package becomes considerably easier to work with in confined areas or transport between games. That's one of the big advantages of a compact electric sub machine gun over a full-length assault rifle. You're not fighting the gun every time the walls get close.

The Double Eagle M924 DMP-9 is therefore a particularly interesting choice for players who want a compact electric airsoft gun with more capability than a basic entry-level SMG. The combination of Eshooter Falcon V2 ETU, 18:1 steel gearing, 8mm bearings, 6.04mm tightbore barrel, ambidextrous controls, M-LOK handguard and side-folding stock gives it a genuinely useful specification. Add the 14mm CCW muzzle thread and full-length optic rail and there's plenty of room to configure the gun around your own setup later. Small package, quite a lot going on inside. That's exactly the sort of recipe that works well for CQB.
