G&G Armament ARP9 Airsoft AEG Rifle Drum Magazine 1500 Rounds in Black

G&G Armament ARP9 Airsoft AEG Rifle Drum Magazine 1500 Rounds in Black

Running an ARP9 and tired of burning through magazines when things get lively? The G&G Armament ARP9 1500 Round Drum Magazine gives you a seriously chunky ammunition reserve, holding up to 1500 6mm airsoft BBs. Designed specifically for the G&G ARP9 AEG platform, it is a practical choice for CQB, longer skirmishes and players who simply prefer shooting to constantly reaching for another magazine.

Loading it is straightforward. Open the large rear filling window, pour in your BBs and securely close the locking cover. Once filled, the oversized front winding wheel tensions the internal spring and feeds BBs towards your airsoft rifle. Directional markings show you which way to turn, and when feeding starts to slow, simply give the wheel another wind. There are no batteries or electric winding motors involved, keeping operation pleasingly simple.

The drum itself uses a durable polymer outer shell with metal securing hardware, giving it the strength needed for regular skirmish use without making the whole unit unnecessarily heavy. Its locking fill cover also helps stop your carefully loaded BBs from making an unexpected escape into your kit bag or across the safe-zone floor.

Of course, a 1500-round airsoft drum magazine is considerably bulkier than a conventional ARP9 stick magazine. That's the trade-off. What you get in return is a huge BB capacity and far fewer magazine changes. It is particularly handy for sustained AEG fire, defensive positions and support-style play where keeping opponents behind cover can give your teammates room to move.

The relatively straightforward internal construction is another useful touch, allowing the magazine to be stripped and rebuilt should you need to clear dirt, contamination or a troublesome BB from the feeding mechanism. It won't suit everyone, especially players who prefer the quieter movement and ammunition management of Mid-Caps, but that's not really the point. If you want a high-capacity G&G ARP9 drum magazine that you can fill, wind and get straight back into the game with, this 1500-round option does exactly that.
