Nuprol 1200mAh 11.1V-20C LiPo AK Slim Stick Airsoft Battery with Deans Connector

Nuprol 1200mAh 11.1V-20C LiPo AK Slim Stick Airsoft Battery with Deans Connector

Trying to squeeze a decent battery into the narrow confines of an AK handguard can be a pain. The Nuprol 1200mAh 11.1V 20C LiPo AK Slim Stick Airsoft Battery tackles that problem with a long, skinny 15 x 17 x 185mm design that's particularly well suited to compatible front-wired AK AEGs and other airsoft replicas with restricted battery space.

Inside the slim pack is a 3S LiPo setup delivering 11.1V with a 1200mAh capacity and 13.32Wh energy rating. For a compatible airsoft AEG, that 11.1V output can provide a snappier trigger response and faster gearbox cycling than lower-voltage alternatives. The battery is rated at 20C continuous discharge, equivalent to 24A, with a 40C or 48A burst capability for those short periods of higher electrical demand.

Connection is handled by a Deans / T-Connector, a popular choice for airsoft AEG setups thanks to its efficient electrical connection. Nuprol has also equipped the pack with AWG16 wiring and a separate JST-XH balance connector, allowing the three individual LiPo cells to be monitored and balanced when used with a suitable LiPo balance charger.

At approximately 115g, this Nuprol airsoft battery doesn't add much unwanted weight to your setup. The important bit is checking compatibility before ordering. Not every AEG is designed to handle an 11.1V LiPo, and the higher cycling speed can increase stress on internal components. You should also measure your battery compartment carefully, as the pack requires enough room to accommodate its 185mm length as well as the wiring and connectors.

As with any LiPo airsoft battery, sensible care is essential. Always use a suitable LiPo balance charger, never leave the battery unattended while charging and avoid running it excessively flat. Disconnect it from your AEG when you're finished playing and store it correctly between skirmishes. Look after it properly and this slim Nuprol 11.1V LiPo makes a handy power source for compatible Deans-equipped AKs and other AEGs where battery space is at a premium.
