The ARES Electronic Gearbox Programmer is a compact, user-friendly tool designed specifically for ARES airsoft guns equipped with the Electronic Firing Control System (EFCS). If you're looking to take full control over your AEG’s firing modes, this programmer gives you the flexibility and simplicity you need for in-the-field or bench-side customization.

Compatible with EFCS-equipped ARES models, such as the M4A1 or honey badger, this device allows you to program your AEG's fire selector switch quickly and efficiently. The top of the programmer features two ports – one for the battery and one for the AEG. On the left (facing the front), you plug in your AEG; on the right, your battery. It supports both Ni-MH and LiPo batteries (2–3 cells only), giving it broad compatibility with standard airsoft power sources.

Once connected, you simply toggle the battery selector to match the type you're using. The real power lies in the four pre-programmed fire mode configurations accessible via the central switch. Choose from:

1. SAFE – SEMI – AUTO
2. SAFE – SEMI – 3-Round Burst
3. SAFE – 3-Round Burst – AUTO
4. SAFE – SEMI – SEMI

As soon as you select a mode, an indicator light will illuminate to confirm your choice. Press the ENTER button, and after a few quick flashes and an audible beep, your AEG is reprogrammed and ready to go. It’s that fast and intuitive.

This tool is ideal for players who want to adapt their rifle to different environments—switching from full-auto for open skirmishes to 3-round burst for controlled CQB play. It's compact enough to bring along in your gear bag and reliable enough to be a staple in your maintenance kit.
