The ASG McMillan M40A3 Sniper if you want something that's fantastic value for money. If your dream is to become an airsoft sniper and you're totally new to the sport/hobby, this is an ideal starter sniper rifle with decent power and range at an affordable price.

This sniper is based on an M40 sniper as used by the USMC.

The M40 originated and was manufactured in the US by USMC armourers & Remington. First used in 1966 up to the present day, it has been used in the Vietnam, Gulf, Afghanistan and Iraq wars. The original M40 was classified as a military-type Remington 700 short action .308 bolt face, and the buttstock was produced from a single piece of solid wood. By the M40A3 version, the stock was now fibreglass and made by McMillan. Currently, the M40 series of the sniper rifle is on version A5.

The M40A3 has been used in films such as Olympus Has Fallen, Shooter, Hostage & many more. It has also been noticeably seen in TV shows such as CSI Miami S1, Jericho, Magnum PI., Arrow and Prison Break, Also starred in computer games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & 4, Soldier of Fortune and ArmA II.

This sniper rifle is a single bolt pull action, and you do not need batteries or gas to make it work, meaning to fire it, you simply pull back the bolt and then push it forward to load the BB's into the chamber and pull the trigger to fire it, each load will shoot one BB pellet. The sniper is a 1/1 full-scale replica with a length of around 113cm and comes finished in Black.

Full metal barrel and bolt system with a strong polymer body that feels nice to hold and has plenty of weight to it.

Has it got a RIS/RAS 20 mm rail system both on top for your scope mounting needs and below for your bi-pod action?

Sling points are located at both the front and rear of the rifle.

The McMillan M40A3 Sniper has a decent range and a smooth & not so stiff bolt. It is pretty powerful, shooting at 449 with accuracy.

The safety switch/catch is by the bolt lever, and it is a slide mechanism style safety. The rifle's hop-up is adjustable by means of a dial underneath on the lower receiver, which is a click system to hold it in place, so you can change the weight of your BB's and adjust the hop-up on the fly.

The removable magazine holds 27 Rounds.

This rifle is a RIF classed rifle, so you need a valid defence to purchase it unless you want the two-tone version, which you have to select.

You need to be over 18 years or older to purchase this rifle.

How To operate the ASG McMillan M40A3 Sniper Sniper rifle, using the supplied speedloader:

Open the top of the speedloader, fill the speedloader with your chosen BB pellets weights, close the opening.

Place the speedloader with the hole on top of the mag where the BB's go in, then press on the plunger a few times with your thumb to transfer the BB's into the mag.

Then replace the magazine into the hole where it goes pull back the bolt to load the chamber.

When the bolt is pushed back to its original position, it's ready to fire aim at your target and pull the trigger.

SAFETY:

Airsoft guns are safe if used in a correct manner, but anyone playing with them must have the appropriate face and eye protection whether they are shooting or spectating; we recommend all younger players use full face masks.

Always move your airsoft rifle in public concealed in a rifle bag, or if you are in a car, keep it in the boot, as it could be mistaken for the real thing, and you would not want police with real guns pointing at you.

This is an affordable airsoft gun for those looking to become a campaign sniper on the field.
