The real world M14 EBR is a modernised version of the classic M14 battle rifle, the M14 still remains in
use in various forms to this day due to its simplicity and accuracy, it also boats a slightly extended
range over the M16 assault rifle making it a favourable choice for DMR's or medium range snipers.
The EMR was designed in 2001 initially intended for use by Navy Seals, Delta Force, and other similar
specialist groups within the military - since 2010 the US Army has issued two EBR's per platoon for
soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and more recently, Iraq.

This version uses the Crane stock, allowing for any conventional stocks that make use of the buffer tube
to be mounted in its place, naturally being an M14 this weapon would make a fantastic base to build a
DMR from - the upper rail offers a great mounting point for a scope, and the smaller rear rail allows you to
have the scope seated in the right position and not too far foreword (simply attach the rear mount of the
scope to the rear rail, the front mount to the front rail). While the barrel length on this rifle is nothing
amazing, it is comparable in length to that of an M16, meaning it is certainly long enough to make accurate
kills at normal skirmish ranges.

The body on this weapon is actually a very nice build, the metal components are constructed from aluminium
making them (relatively) lightweight, with the pistol grip and stock being made from a very comfortable polymer.
Because of the fact this weapon is made from so much metal even though it is lightweight aluminium, the overall
weight of the weapon is still quite high - weighing in at 4.4Kg this is not a "throw about" rifle. Kitting this weapon
out is very easy due to the large bottom rail included on the handguard; this rifle works a treat with a folding
bipod coupled with some form of grip to assist you when shouldering it, without a grip the rails can be quite sharp
so should you prefer not to use an AFG or vertigrip, some rail covers are recommended to make the rifle more
comfortable to shoot.

Please note this gun is in a factory two tone finish and not sprayed in house like some other companies sell, we also have it made to a uk spec with a uk 3 pin charger and the appropriate fps for uk games.
