The CM518 is one of the new Starter Skirmisher rifles that are part of the CYMA Sport Series. CYMA is one of the most well-known Chinese producers in the airsoft industry.
The rifle has a metal gearbox and other mechanical parts, like those found in more expensive guns, but is still affordable enough for airsoft newbies.
This electric M4 Airsoft Rifle is a replica of one of the most popular and iconic weapon platforms currently in use.
However, the CM.518 BB Gun features a custom-designed muzzle break for a distinctive appearance and functionality.
The rifle's handguard, receiver, stock, buffer tube, and flip up sights are constructed of a durable but extremely lightweight polymer, and its barrel and internals are made of a reliable alloy for accurate and dependable shooting.
Unique to the CM.518 is the muzzle break compensator attached to the front handguard, giving it an aggressive appearance and, more importantly, allowing for 21 inches of 20mm RIS/RAS rails, as well as two 3-inch and a bottom 3-inch rail systems at the front of the rifle, and M-LOK functionality on the rifles handguard sides.
This provides the M4 with an insane number of customisation options, including sights, scopes, torches, lasers, and PEQ units, to name a few. You name it, the CYMA CM518 M4 can probably accommodate it.
The muzzle can be removed by removing two screws from the front of the rail, allowing the compensator to be easily removed to reveal a 14mm CCW thread and standard M4/AR flash hider for attaching silencers and suppressors.
The rail continues onto the body of the rifle to give it a unified, monolithic appearance and to allow you to equip a different sight in the future.
In order to replicate the M4 as closely as possible, the body of this Airsoft replica features a dummy bolt catch and is constructed from lightweight, yet dense polymer, allowing for easy manoeuvrability on the field.
The fire select is designed for right-handed use and can be easily toggled between modes with the thumb, while the magazine release on the right side of the firearm is easily accessible with the trigger finger.

The stock of the M4A1 is adjustable at six locking points, allowing you to adjust the length of the stock between 70cm and 80cm, depending on your size, for a more comfortable shoulder weld. Rubber is used to construct the butt-plate of the stock, providing a nonslip surface when using the rifle.
This firearm is rear-wired, which allows the battery connector to be accessed by simply pulling down the adjuster tab on the stock and removing the stock to expose the buffer tube and Tamiya connector. A wider variety of batteries, such as crane stock batteries in the stock itself or Li-Po batteries that fit down the buffer tube, can be used.
The tight-bore barrel is a great addition because it allows for greater accuracy and range, allowing it to hit targets at longer distances than M4s without this feature.
