Description.

The Tango T96 is a spring-powered bolt action rifle designed to get new snipers on target quickly without weighing them down. Its polymer stock, lower receiver and grip shave kilos compared with traditional full-metal snipers, so you stay nimble between hides and lanes. Out of the box it comes with a 4x32 scope mounted on the 20mm top rail and a bipod attached to the front lug — practical kit that lets you start skirmishing straight away, no extra shopping required.

Performance-wise the T96 sits around ~400fps when using 0.20g BBs (±10%). For real-world accuracy and wind resistance we recommend heavier BBs — the rifle is best paired with 0.30–0.40g rounds. That’s where the adjustable HOP-UP becomes vital: it adds backspin to stabilise the heavier pellets and extend effective range. The HOP adjuster is accessed beneath the chassis via a small port in front of the mag well and is adjusted with the included Allen key—simple, repeatable and essential for tuning shot arcs to weight and distance.

The bolt is a near straight-pull design so cocking feels light and fast; follow-up shots are quicker than most single-action, full-throw bolts. Combine that with the sprung-loaded magazines (two supplied = ~56 rounds ready) and you get a reliable, fast-operating package for urban sniping, skirmish CQB or woodland pick-off roles. Ergonomically it uses an M4-style stock and grip—intuitive for players moving from AEG platforms.
