Description

  • The M10 Military & Police (M&P), which uses the .38 SPL round, has produced a number of variants over its long history. In 1947, the 6-inch barreled K-38 Target Masterpiece, which was changed to a movable rear sight, was introduced to great acclaim. Based on that, the K-38 Combat Masterpiece, which had a shortened barrel to 4 inches, was born at the request of the FBI and others. "K-38" means frame size K, .38 spl specification. After the war, it was given the model number M15 (the 6in target masterpiece is the M14), and until the late 80s, it was widely used by the police and military, and the M15 became S&W's representative "military and police revolver" along with the M10. The wonderfully balanced design is pleasing to the eye and is a truly well-made revolver treasure, including quality.
  • The slender, rugged barrel with a tapered for the .38SPL has no shroud over the ejector rod and is resistant to catching when pulled out of the holster, with a diagonally cut front sight and a lower, dedicated rear sight blade that became standard thereafter. The trigger has anti-slip serrations, and the hammer is semi-wide because there are many opportunities for cocking and holding. In addition, the 1967 early type has been reproduced, such as the diamond checker-type flat bottom grip, barrel fixing pin, and large SW mark on the side plate side. Since the internal mechanism is Ver.3 specification, stable live fire is possible that is less affected by the temperature.
