This CYMA MP5A4 is an airsoft reproduction of the legendary submachine gun that many Special Forces units use around the world today, and it is one of the best mp5 airsoft replicas there is on the market and is very sturdy with good balance and performance.

It has an excellent spring on the charging handle and goes back into position nicely after charging, and it has a real nice sound recoiling back when striking metal. When the bolt gets pulled back, it allows you access to the hop-up. The hop-up is sensitive and worked well with the bb pellets shooting differently with each adjustment.

It has a metal flash nozzle that is removable from the gun's threaded barrel, so if you want, you can buy a silencer add that to the rifle very quickly. The rifle's magazine, which is also metal, is a hi-cap and holds about 240 rounds.

The stock has a sling loop on the left-hand side and two other hooks that will allow you to attach most standard two or three-point slings; there is also a rubber butt plate on the end of the stock that you push down, which reveals the battery chamber. Inside, this has a mini type Tamiya connector with a fused wire. The compartment will take a large type 8.4v battery.

It has two removable rail panels that fit onto the gun's very sturdy 20mm rail system, allowing for easy fitting of all standard rail-mounted accessories. Like the included foregrip or any other accessories you wish to buy, for example, flashlights or gun sights, etc.

The fire selector switch is ambidextrous and has the standard three settings (semi/full auto and safety), and has a satisfying click when the setting has been selected.

The gun is pretty accurate and constant and has a good fps (360 to 400 on testing), and performs well out of the box. It's got a reliable Version 2 full metal Gearbox built-in.

The Rear Sight has four different aperture settings and can be removed if wanted.
