The Jag Precision x Taran Tactical International JW4 Sand Viper R615-1 brings one of the most recognisable competition-style pistols from John Wick: Chapter 4 into airsoft form, complete with official TTI licensing and that unmistakable bronze finish. Made by Army Armament, this GBB pistol uses the familiar Hi-Capa-style layout beneath its movie-star appearance, combining a reinforced metal frame, 5-inch barrel and CNC finished aluminium slide with a stippled polymer grip. In the hand it feels substantial without being needlessly cumbersome, and there's plenty here for players who couldn't care less about displaying it on a shelf and actually want to run the thing.

Starting at the muzzle, the integral compensator immediately gives the Sand Viper its distinctive profile. It flows neatly into the 5-inch setup rather than looking like an accessory bolted on as an afterthought. Behind it sits the CNC finished aluminium slide, complete with extensive weight-reduction cuts and useful gripping surfaces. Removing unnecessary slide mass matters on a Green Gas airsoft pistol because the gas system has less material to drive backwards and forwards during firing. The result is a lively cycling action that suits the competition-inspired nature of the R615-1 rather well. Pull the trigger and there's that familiar GBB snap, followed by the slide returning ready for the next shot. Very satisfying.

Unlike the more iron-sight-oriented Pit Viper concept, this Sand Viper is optics ready and comes supplied with a red dot mounting plate. That gives you the option of fitting a compatible pistol optic without having to hunt down an obscure mounting solution before you've even fired the airsoft gun. A pistol red dot can take a little getting used to if you've spent years lining up conventional sights, but once the presentation clicks, target acquisition can feel remarkably natural. Bring the airsoft handgun up, pick up the dot and concentrate on the target. The R615-1 also has an integral frame accessory rail, so a compatible tactical light can be fitted for CQB or low-light setups.

Power comes from Green Gas, stored in the supplied 28-round double-stack magazine. The stippled polymer grip adds plenty of texture beneath the fingers and palm, helping the Sand Viper remain planted when you're wearing gloves or your hands are damp. Combined with the extended controls and flared magwell, the grip gives this Hi-Capa-style airsoft pistol a distinctly practical competition flavour. The metal frame also adds rigidity and weight through the centre of the pistol, balancing nicely against the aluminium slide above. There's an individually laser-engraved serial number too, which is a neat finishing detail on an officially licensed Taran Tactical International replica.

Then, obviously, there's the bronze finish. Subtle? Not remotely. That's part of the fun. The Jag Precision TTI JW4 Sand Viper R615-1 has enough visual presence to stand out immediately among conventional black GBB pistols, yet there's useful hardware underneath the colour scheme.
